Tack 2000
To secure stems in foam bouquet holders. When the arrangement is complete, spray between stems onto foam.
It doesn’t matter that the foam is wet. The adhesive will be tacky, but will not set hard (at least not today!). Do this only when the arrangement is complete as it is difficult to insert stems once the adhesive is applied.
Don’t spray onto visible flowers or foliage as it will leave a residue.
Leave the arrangement over a bucket or other receptacle as some of the adhesive/water will run, but only for a short time.
Add ribbon trails later as you don’t want adhesive dripping onto this. You can tuck the ribbon into the gap between the holder and the flowers and the adhesive will grab hold of it.
To test, give the arrangement a gentle shake and you should find that none of the stems fall out!
