Weddings

Brides-to-be find our approach to wedding flowers
 very relaxed and informal.
We can cater for a simple 'bouquet only' ceremony
to a Fairy Tale wedding with all the trimmings.
 We don't have a set range of pieces already priced
as we like to think that each wedding is different
and should be talked through and priced individually.
It's your big day.
 You can have exactly what you want
and arrange your package to suit your budget

Magazines

Bridal magazines are a good source of information.
At this early stage it is a good idea to look through bridal magazines
 to get some idea of the range of styles available
 and the different varieties of flowers on offer.
You don’t need to decide now
 but you may be able to draw up a shortlist
which will be a great help to your florist at your first meeting 

Colours

You will of course be looking at wedding dresses etc
 and colours for the bridesmaid.
 Please bear in mind that some colours
are very difficult to match when it comes to flowers
 although a contrast is nearly always available.

Consultations

We don’t charge for a first consultation
 as this is simply a meeting
where we can get to know each other.

 For our part we need to be sure
 we will be available to do your wedding flowers.
That is, we are not already fully committed
 on that particular week.
We can normally accommodate several weddings at one time
although there are times such as Mother’s Day,
Valentine’s Day and the run up to Christmas
when we would not wish to be over stretched.

Our primary concern is to provide a quality service
and we must be sure we are in a position to do this.

For your part, you will need to decide
if you would like us to do your wedding flowers.
 You may be talking to several florists at this stage
(which is always a good idea)
 and you will need to find someone
 you have enough confidence in
 to fulfil your requirements
 at a price range that suits you.

At this stage we can give you an idea
as to the cost of some of the elements of your package
 such as bouquets, table arrangements, buttonholes etc
 although these will be based on average prices
and your final selection may be above or below the average

If you have an overall budget for your flowers,
 we should be able to confirm
that your overall requirements can be met within that figure
(subject to content and availability).
 You could of course decide at a later stage
to increase or decrease your budget
 in line with the decisions you make. 
 
Commitment

The next stage is when you feel ready to make a commitment.
 If you decide to choose us to do your wedding flowers
we would then make a firm booking for your wedding day
 and commit ourselves to the project.

Deposit

We will require a deposit from you
which is normally calculated at 20% of the estimated cost of the package.
We will then be looking at detailed designs
 for each part of the project
and working towards a complete package
 with all the elements exactly as you require them.

We will then be spending considerable time
 in design work, allocating resources, buying materials
 and eventually ordering any special flowers that are needed.
For this reason,
 your deposit is non-refundable
should you decide to cancel your agreement with us.
